'Desktoplet' is a simple application that reduces your desktop into a small, easily accessible window. If you ever felt that it takes too many clicks to get to your desktop, you might find this tool useful. It resides in your system tray, giving you easy access to its functionality.

The application displays your desktop icons, they are arranged just like on your desktop. The names, displayed below each icon on your desktop, are transformed into tooltips to conserve space. The background of the window that displays your icons can be customized. Desktoplet can use images or gradients for the background of its window.

Pluses: Right-clicking inside the Desktoplet window is just like clicking the desktop. The right click menu of your desktop is displayed.

Drawbacks / flaws: The application's features don't justify its price. In my opinion, Desktoplet costs way too much.

In conclusion: Desktoplet might cost this much because it supports Windows Vista...
